Cameras are incapable of lying, for a few main reasons:
They’re cameras.
They can’t talk. They’re cameras.
They can’t reasonably come up with a lie, cause they don’t have brains. They’re cameras.
 
We hope that none of those facts shock or surprise you. If they do… you might be a camera. Which would be kinda rough, but at least you’re honest.
 
Of course, the phrase “the camera doesn’t lie” has little to do with a camera’s physical ability to tell a fib. Usually this phrase is used when you are the one trying to lie and say you didn’t do something, but you were caught on camera doing it. The camera saw everything, and is now informing everybody that you picked your nose at the concert. C’mon camera! Show a little decency!
 
To get even with all the cameras who have wronged us over the years with their “honesty”, we thought we would take this time to expose the TRUTH about cameras:
A camera is just a box with a fancy hole. They try to be all complicated and high-end, but at the end of the day, it’s a box with a hole in it!
A camera works pretty much like your eye. There’s nothing special about it! They’re just big bulky eyes!
Your camera is afraid of light! There have to be special shutters on your camera to make sure the light isn’t too bright for it. “Oh, I’m sorry, the light is too bright for me to do the ONE THING I WAS CREATED FOR!” What a baby.
Cameras flash people, which is highly disturbing and unwelcomed.
 
We hope you believe these shocking truths about cameras. We, unlike cameras, are capable of lying, so you’ll have to take our word for it. We just hope that we were able to give cameras a little taste of their own medicine.
