The napping angel
By Shane’s Brain
One day, the baby took a nap
In nestled arms of mom and pap
Snores replaced his giggled screams,
And soon gave way to pleasant dreams.
Dreams of teething on the door
And happily drooling on the floor
Days of laughs and peek-a-boo
Tiny fingers he could chew
Baby smiled, as in his dream
He saw his mother’s precious beam
Her loving eyes, her tender heart
He was sure they’d never part.
He was glad that life was this,
Full of smiles, and laughs and bliss
And as he sunk into his bed,
He knew this feeling would never end.
It’s important to focus on these great moments of parenting. Raising a child is difficult, of course, but there are daily moments with a baby that make it all worth it. Those moments when a baby laughs and plays, or gives a big smile, or just falls asleep in your arms, make babies an amazing gift to mankind.
This onesie is a tribute to all that is amazing about babies. Simple things like sleeping and smiling are often taken for granted in our normal lives. However, when a baby takes a nap, it’s adorable. When a baby smiles, we take out cameras. Anything a baby does is precious and profound.
In essence, babies are teaching us about some of the real important things in life. We sometimes get caught up in daily responsibilities, when it’s good to slow down and appreciate the little things that make life so incredible. The moments we get to enjoy with our kids are worth far more than any other responsibility we have. That’s why we go through so much work to take care of babies. Because in that moment when your baby goes to sleep in your arms, a sweet smile on their face, you know that any sacrifices you’ve made for them are really a small price to pay.
